Volunteers come from all walks of life and all age groups and there are opportunities to suit everyone.
Don't be put off if you are working full-time or have a limited number of hours available. Many organisations would love to find volunteers that are able to volunteer evenings, nights and/or weekends.
You can find volunteering opportunities that only take a couple of hours a month.
