About Central Youth Volunteering Project
The Central Youth Volunteering Project is a new project run by the Volunteer Centre Bedford and Biggleswade to promote volunteering experiences for young people that are exciting and meaningful. By volunteering for just 10 hours young people can gain a nationally recognised accreditation through vInspired and have fun doing it!
Volunteering has so many benefits - it raises confidence and self esteem, gives young people something to put on their personal profile on UCAS, will help with career and further education choices and encourage young people to be more involved and included in their local communities.
If you are aged 13-18 (or up to 25 for those with special needs) living in Central Bedfordshire there are a whole range of volunteering opportunities. The opportunities are varied - whether you want to volunteer with children, the elderly, sports, conservation work there is something for you. Start volunteering now!
