The Volunteer Centre is the local volunteer development agency covering North and Mid Bedfordshire.

We are a charity and we link people who want to volunteer with organisations needing volunteering help.

We work with a wide range of local charities and "not for profit" organisations, community groups of all sorts, sports clubs and statutory organisations like hospitals and schools.

Whether you wish to volunteer yourself or are part of an organisation needing to recruit volunteers you can find the information you need to get started right here.

Olympic Games Makers Needed

The organisers of London 2012 have announced that the recruitment of up to 70,000 volunteers (known as ‘Games Makers’) will begin on 15th September. Visit http://digbig.com/5bccfr to see if you have what it takes to be a Games Maker.
