What is the Luton Assembly?
The Luton Assembly is a Community Empowerment Network.
In Luton it is made up of over 600 community/voluntary organisations.
It was formed to enable the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) to get involved in the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) known as Luton Forum and its decision making process.
How does the Luton Assembly deliver services?
How do you become a member of the Luton Assembly and who is eligible?
- All community/voluntary organisations and individuals are eligible to join.
- Must be on Voluntary Action Luton's database and express an interest in being part of the Assembly.
- Must contact Susan Vitty, The Assembly Coordinator, to complete a questionnaire.

Full Assembly events are held at least 3 times a year - to which all local Voluntary Community Sector organisations are invited.

Elections are held annually to become one of the 14 elected Assembly Representatives on Luton Forum.
