Welcome Pack

All practitioners working with children and families have a responsibility to become familiar with the local procedures for safeguarding children and young people both within their own organisations and those of the Local Safeguarding Children Board.

A new document is available designed to be a welcome pack for LSCB members, but it gives a useful introduction to the role of the safeguarding board.  To view the document click here.

 

Safer Recruitment Training

We have been offered the opportunity to attend free Safer Recruitment Training running on various dates throughout the year.  If you would like to find out more about the training click here.

DID YOU KNOW THAT YOUNG PEOPLE CAN ACCESS FREE, CONFIDENTIAL COUNSELLING IN LEIGHTON BUZZARD?

Are you feeling fed up and in need of someone to talk to?  Do you know someone who might need a listening ear and some extra support?  Relate offers a free and confidential counseling service to young people aged 12 – 21 years at the TACTIC centre in Leighton Buzzard.  We offer emotional support to young people who face a wide range of issues from parent divorce and separation, teenage pregnancy, conflict in the home, relationship and friendship difficulties, bullying, loneliness to name a few.
