Voluntary and community organisations often find it difficult
to access independent, quality ICT (Information and
Communication Technology) advice. Whether it is guidance on
buying the right equipment, or help with making your system
secure, many people need some assistance to make the right
decisions.
The Voluntaryworks consortium is funded by the Big Lottery Fund to
provide free ICT advice across Bedfordshire and Luton.
Is this your organisation?
- Our IT system is struggling to cope
- We don’t know how to make the most of the software we already have
- We have never backed up our data (and don’t know how to)
- We don’t know if our maintenance contract provides value
- Our organisation would close if the computers were stolen
overnight
- We can’t access each other’s files or printers, even though we are in the same office
- We pay full price for all our software, even though we are a
charity
