On 1st July 2006 Community & Voluntary Service – Mid & North Bedfordshire (CVS - Mid & North Beds) was formed from the merger of three of Bedfordshire’s Voluntary Infrastructure Organisations (namely Mid Beds Council for Voluntary Service, North Beds Council for Voluntary Service and Bedfordshire Funding Advice Bureau)

The organisation is based in Bedford at 43 Bromham Road and continues to provide quality guidance, support and representation for all voluntary and community groups in Mid & North Bedfordshire.

Our Aims

CVS - Mid & North Beds aims to:

• Represent fairly the voluntary and community sector in Mid & North Bedfordshire
• Cultivate an environment that promotes development
• Assist voluntary and community groups to achieve the highest standards of practice and effectiveness
• Provide leadership to voluntary and community groups in tackling new issues and unmet needs
