The REC works closely with regional partners to ensure issues concerning BME communities have a regional voice.

The REC is a member of MENTER, the BME Regional Network for the Eastern Region.

The REC shares practices with other organisations in the Eastern Region and has developed Regional initiatives that have benefitted members of BME communities in Bedfordshire.

Bedford REC will continue its Regional initiatives to strengthen BME representation in the Eastern Region.
