BR&EC has secured funding to provide a Mentoring Support/Service in education, to 13 to 18 year olds of Black & Minority Ethnic Heritage. The students will have been selected to realise and raise their full academic potential also given insight into future career opportunities.
Students will have...
- opportunity for support
- one to one mentoring sessions on a weekly basis
- help to get them on target
- acknowledgment of achievements
- given strategies to enable them to achieve their goals
- introduction to social activities, if required
The focus of this project is to increase educational attainment of Black & Minority Ethnic Heritage students.
Support is provided by a CRB checked trained Mentor.
