Running a voluntary organisation is a team task. One way to strengthen your management committee is to identify key governance and trustee issues and increase your understanding of individual and collective roles and responsibilities.

This course is ideal training for chairs and trustees looking to update their knowledge, for those taking on the role of trustee for the first time and for committee members of newly developing organisations.

Fee will be refunded upon attendance.

• Legal responsibilities of trustees
• Liability and how to minimise risk
• Providing effective leadership
• Roles of officers and “ordinary” members
• Working as a team
• Useful tips and resources on being an effective trustee

The workshop will be held at Dunstable Community Fire Station, Brewers Hill Road, Dunstable LU6 1AA.
