Getting Ready for Funding

All funders require a minimum level of organisation on your part, so that they can feel that their money will be properly spent and managed. Getting Ready for Funding will cover all aspects of what an organisation needs to think about and have in place before they are ready to apply for funding. The workshop will help you plan projects and activities and identify the people, skills and support necessary to raise funds successfully.

  • a fundraiser, treasurer or volunteer responsible for funding of your group
  • new to fundraising or would like to improve your skills and knowledge
  • thinking of or planning to apply for grant funding.

This workshop will enable you to ...

  • clarify your group's aims and objectives
  • prioritise projects
  • plan your project successfully.

Venue

The training on 15 July will be held in the Community Room at Bossard House, Leighton Buzzard LU7 1DA. This venue is fully accessible with parking available in the multi story car park.

The training on 9 September will be held at Dunstable Fire Station, Brewers Hill Road, Dunstable LU6 1AA. This venue is fully accessible. Parking is available in their car park.

Access and Individual Requirements

If you have any specific individual requirements to enable you to attend this event please let us know. Every effort is made to meet individual requirements, which might include; a loop system, sign language interpreter, wheelchair access, handouts in large print or special dietary requirements.

Refreshments will be provided.

* Members receive a 33% discount on workshop fees and members with an income of less than £5,000 pa will have their fees refunded upon attendance. All networking and consultation events are free.
