This is for YOU if ….

  • you are a beginner or you need a refresher course
  • you want to progress through to being confident and competent users

Although you need have no previous experience of the programme, you must have computer, mouse and keyboard skills and you must commit to the complete two-day programme.

Content:

  • how to monitor your work more effectively to be better able to report back to funders
  • of data to prepare useful graphs and tables
  • use of data to present statistics numerically and solve
  • quations, demonstrating how they were worked out.

Trainer

David Durrant is an experienced ICT Tutor delivering these two-day training courses on behalf of the Adult Community Learning Service for Bedfordshire County Council. He has been involved with Adult Education since 1990. Working as a freelance, he has contributed to the organising and retraining of unemployed adults, as well as working with school leavers. and trainees studying NVQ programmes at Further Education Colleges.

Venue

The workshop will be held at Bossard House, West Street, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 1DA. This venue is fully accessible. Parking is available in a pay and display car park nearby.

 

Access and Individual Requirements

If you have any specific individual requirements to enable you to attend this event please let us know. Every effort is made to meet individual requirements, which might include; a loop system, sign language interpreter, wheelchair access, handouts in large print or special dietary requirements.

Refreshments, and a buffet lunch, with vegetarian options will be provided.
