Demonstrating Need & Identifying Outcomes

For any funding application you will have to show to the funder that there is a need for your project and that your project proposal shows a good way of meeting that need. Funders also want to see the changes that come about from the work you do.

 Date:

Tuesday 7 July

 Time:

10.00am to 12.30pm

 Venue:

Leighton Buzzard

 Trainer:

Rizwana Zaman

 Cost:

£15 / £10*

This is for YOU if you are …

  • a fundraiser, treasurer or volunteer responsible for the funding of your group
  • new to fundraising or would like to improve your skills and knowledge.

This workshop will help you identify ways to clearly demonstrate and evidence the need of your project to funders and therefore improve your chances of success. The workshop will help you demonstrate to the funder the difference your project makes and the changes that happen because of your project.

By the end of this workshop you will learn ...

  • how to identify and demonstrate the needs of your users, or the gap you are aiming to fill
  • how your project will meet those needs
  • ‘outputs’ and ‘outcomes’
  • how to show to the funder that outcomes have been achieved.

If this workshop is booked alongside "Finding the Right Funder" lunch will be included.
