Working in partnership may be the key to survival for many organisations. Many funders are looking for more groups to be working in partnership. This half-day course will give you an understanding of the policy background, different partnership models and the steps to take to get into partnership!
Background
Government and its agencies are determined to encourage ‘consortia working’ as part of its move towards a more cost efficient way of delivering public services through competitive tendering. We know that our traditional grants are gradually being replaced by legally binding contracts and we will probably need to enter into collaborative working arrangements and mergers in order to win these, survive and continue to deliver our much needed services.
