How to Write a Business Plan

A good business plan can help you demonstrate sound planning within your organisation and to potential funders. This introductory session is for voluntary organisations and social enterprises wanting to put together their first business plan. It will explain what a business plan should include and how it can help with developing and sustaining the work of your organisation.

  • what makes a good business plan, purpose,  structure and content
  • how to carry out a SWOT analysis
  • how to set SMART objectives
  • how to carry forward the planning process within your organisation
  • making good use of your plan to guide your organisation and inform funders

There will be practical exercises, handouts and a useful business planning toolkit to take away.

Venue

The workshop will be held at Bossard House, West Street, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 1DA. This venue is fully accessible. Parking is available in a pay and display car park nearby.

If you have any specific individual requirements to enable you to attend this event please let us know.
