The Big Lottery Fund is the largest distributor of Lottery money.
In 2011 they have handed out over £600 million to voluntary organisations and community groups and to projects for health, education and the environment. Come and find out how you can get a share of the pie.
This briefing will be interactive and give you a chance to discuss your project and ask specific questions.
You will also be able to discuss programmes suitable for your group and find out how to make a good application to the Big Lottery fund.

Speaker … Jonathan Clark
Jonathan grew up in Devon and his early career was in the insurance industry. Later he visited Eastern Europe and South America volunteering for a charity in its overseas work. Qualifying as a teacher in 2000, he lectured at Plymouth College of Further Education. In 2001 he left to co-found ‘Open Doors International Language School’, a charitable enterprise primarily working with asylum seekers and refugees in Plymouth.
Appointed Asylum Seeker & Refugee Coordinator for Plymouth in November 2003, Jonathan worked in partnership with Voluntary, Statutory and Private sector agencies to develop and deliver service provision. This highly successful project ended in early 2007.
Following relocation to Cambridge, Jonathan has recently taken up his post as a Policy and Partnerships Manager for the Big Lottery Fund in the East of England.

The workshop will be held in the Community Room at Bossard House, Leighton Buzzard LU7 1DA. This venue is fully accessible with parking available in the multi story car park.
