Cat Lovers to the Rescue!
Cats Protection is urgently in need of fosterers for cats and kittens in the South Bedfordshire area. So if you love getting hands on with cats, are caring, but not overly sentimental, with a good working knowledge of cat welfare and not afraid to get your hands dirty, you could help as a fosterer!
This very rewarding role isn’t just about stroking cats, it is about looking after them night and day, and includes showing cats to potential adopters, talking to new owners about cat welfare, keeping up to date records, and transporting cats to the vet as and when required. Fostering is normally done in a purpose built cat cabin (which will be provided) in your own garden, however spare rooms can be adapted for indoor fostering. All expenses are met by the charity and they supply everything, even down to the food bowls.
Cats Protection is always in need of bedding. Kittens feel much more protected if they have something warm and fluffy to snuggle into, they are always in need of old towels, blankets, fleeces and cuddly toys. Cat toys would also be welcome.
