Invitation to take out membership
We would like to invite you to become a Member of Voluntary and Community Action. We provide a range of services that seek to increase the quality, quantity, contribution and accessibility of voluntary and community action throughout South Bedfordshire.
Membership is open to individuals and organisations that operate within (all or part of) South Bedfordshire and support the promotion and development of local voluntary and community action. It offers a range of benefits, including:
- regular mailings and newsletters about developments within the voluntary and community sector, funding sources, training opportunities and lots more
- an extensive programme of training workshops & events (free or at reduced fees for members)
- free advice, guidance, information and consultancy on organisational development issues and the development of your own policies, activities and services
- access to a substantial library of books, multi-media resources and other publications
- assistance with the recruitment of volunteers
- access to grants and funding advice
- reduced charges for photocopying and document services, publications and equipment hire
- nomination and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.
Membership runs from January to December each year [if you apply in October to December your membership will be extended until the 31 December of the following year].
