Regular Mailings
External organisations and agencies can include material in our regular Action! mailings by prior arrangement with the Information Co-ordinator. These are sent out bi-monthly (six times per annum).
Copy can be included in the pages of the Action! newsletter free of charge if space permits.
Organisations will need to provide the appropriate number of copies, of the material being sent out, which must be received at Voluntary and Community Action ready for inclusion in the mailing by the copy deadline for the relevant issue (as advised by the Information Coordinator). Material photocopied by Voluntary and Community Action will incur additional charges at the prices given above.
The following rates apply for a single sheet of A4/A5 paper (rates for larger items are negotiable):

* Partner Organisations are defined as organisations working with Voluntary and Community Action to deliver its work programme objectives.
Targeted Mailings
Material for inclusion in the regular Action! mailings may also be targeted to specific client groups (e.g. those organisations working with families or older people) and/or organisations dealing with specific issues (e.g. advocacy, health and social care, volunteering) and the quantity advised accordingly. The minimum charge for targeted mailings will be as above. There may also be an additional administration fee for handling multiple separate mailings.
Special Mailings
Material for inclusion in special mailings (i.e. mailings consisting of own material only) will be at the above rates plus a charge to cover postage, envelopes, copying (if applicable) and administration time in handling the mailing. The exact charge will be dependent upon the number and format of items to be included and whether they are targeted. Provision of this service will be dependent upon Voluntary and Community Action’s workload at the time.
Database Address Labels
Database addresses are not normally made available. In exceptional circumstances (in agreement with the Director) the service may be available to partner organisations, at a cost of £2.00 per sheet of 14 labels. Appropriate safeguards will also be built in and the conditions of use set out in a letter. Under no circumstances will addresses be passed on to commercial organisations.
