The Funding Advice Service seeks to build the skills capacity of groups to identify, apply for and manage funding for their activities and services. We offer/provide a range of services:

• information, advice, guidance and consultancy sessions on appropriate funding sources
• help with the completion of grant application forms
• help and advice on preparing supporting documentation, such as business plans or policies
• funding information sheets
• information and updates on specific funds published in our Action! newsletter and an electronic funding bulletin
• use of interactive media such as the FunderFinder and GRANTfinder software and other published resources
• training courses on funding related issues
• networking events and funders briefings
• help and advice on sustainable funding, including gift aid, payroll giving, procurement and social enterprise activity
• advice on developing fundraising events and strategies.

This service also builds effective relationships with local funders and facilitates the provision of funding for voluntary organisations and community groups.
