CAN (Community Drug Programme) DO MORE !

CAN   Community   Drug   Programme   has  moved  to  bigger,  brighter  premises , 22 Grove  Place,  Bedford,  where we have increased  our  capacity  with  the  use  of  5  client  rooms,  offering  a new  timetable  with  a  variety  of  new  groups.  CAN   has  a  specialist  staff  team,  drawn  from  a  variety  of  professions,  offering  a  free,  confidential  service  of   support  to  anyone  over  the  age  of  18  with  drug  related  issues . 

New  groups  include: 

• Stimulant  group , Creative  group,  Building  Self Esteem,  Anger  and  Stress  Management,  Relapse  Prevention,  Life skills, Healthy  living.  

We  also  offer  individual work in  the  shape  of  Key working,  Motivational   Interviewing   or   Counselling   and   group Complementary   therapies.

SPACED   are   also   part   of   CAN   and   offer   support   and information   for   those   worried  or   concerned   about   someone else’s   drug   and   alcohol   use.

CAN   also   operates   across   the   county  of   Bedfordshire  with   an   Outreach team,   offering appointments  in  satellite   sites,   other agencies   or   within   a   clients   home.

CAN   is   a   voluntary   agency,   established   in   Northamptonshire in   1972   and   has   been   based   in   Bedfordshire   since   1999, We   work   closely   with   all   related   agencies  and   partnerships   in   providing   a   service   to   clients.

CAN   is   launching   their   new   premises   on  18   April ,  with   a    presentation   of   the   new   timetable   and   a   tour   of    the   new   bigger,   brighter premises.
