Community Sexual Health Nurse (Band 6)
15.5 hours per week
Starting salary: £12,207 per annum
Based at outreach clinics across Bedfordshire

Terrence Higgins Trust are looking for an experienced contraception and sexual health nurse to assist with their Level 1 and 2 service across Bedfordshire. Are you a motivated team player looking for their next challenge? Do you have a genuine interest in the areas of sexual health and contraceptive care? Do you have a family planning qualification and recent experience in delivering both contraception and sexual health services? If so, you could be just what they're looking for. This role will involve travel across parts of Bedfordshire to a number of their community based clinics at set times throughout the week. Nurse Practitioner (Band 7)
12 hours per week (Fixed term until 31 March 2012)
Starting salary: £10,431p.a - £10,960 per annum
Based at the clinic in Bedford (Wednesday 5.45pm–9.15pm & Saturday 9.45am-1.15pm - plus 5 hrs per week non-clinical time)

Action for Children aim to build parenting skills and improve family relationships using a creative range of interventions including play, art, solution focused, systemic and task centred techniques. Their approach makes a very real and satisfying difference. With a realistic workload they will ensure that you have the time and resources to really support the children and families referred to our service. You’ll be able to work in a planned way that will bring about the best results.
Family Support Social Worker
Ref. EE/068 | £26,786 - £29,717 | Dunstable
As a GSCC Registered Social Worker, you’ll have experience of working with children and their families to achieve change. You’re also strong on assessment and report writing with an understanding of child development and risk factors. A driving licence and car are essential for this role.
Family Support Worker
Ref. EE/067 | £16,992 - £22,002 pro rata | 18.5 hours | Dunstable
With an NVQ Level 3 in Child Care or equivalent, you’ll have experience of working with children and families to achieve change, an understanding of safeguarding and risk factors. You’ll be able to plan and carry out interventions and have good report writing and IT skills. Again, a driving licence and car are a must for this role.
