1) Central Bedfordshire Locality Meetings

Central Beds East

The purpose of these meetings is to determine priority needs within the localities (Biggleswade/Sandy/Potton and surrounding vilages) and to produce an Action Plan on three top priorities for the Neighbourhoods, which work towards achieving outcomes within C&YP Plan.

It is important that agencies working in the locality have an input, some of the commissioning drivers will come from these plans and for smaller organisations your input can make a difference for the children and young people in your local area.

The first meeting of Central Beds East was held in September 2009 and began to identify priority needs in Biggleswade/ Sandy and Potton locations; a significant need being identified around SEN provision, particularly for 11-25 year olds.
