1. Parenting Working Group meeting
   For Parenting Week (19th - 25th October), Bedford Borough Council would like to arrange an event that is a joint effort on behalf of the Parenting Stakeholders Group. They are holding a working party meeting (to which you are all invited) on:
   
   Date: Thursday 10th September, 11.00 - 1.00pm
   Venue: Rainbow School
   
   VOCypf are asking for a representative to attend this meeting and report back to our members.

4. Solution Focused Interviewing Course
   

   A 2 day Solution Focussed course is being offered at:
   
   Date: 3-4th September
   Venue: Rufus Centre, Flitwick
   
   The aim of the course is to provide an opportunity for participants to learn about solution focussed approaches, and to practice techniques in a training environment, in order to use in everyday practice. Click here for more details.

5. Gluten Free Food Fair
   The Beds and Mid Herts Group of Coelic UK are hosting the very first Home Counties Gluten Free Food Fair!
   
   Date: Saturday 26th September 2009, 10.00am to 2.00pm
   Venue: The Weatherley Centre, Eagle Farm Road, Biggleswade, SG18 8JH

   Entrance Fee is only £1.00 and includes a prize draw ticket for (voucher prizes)

6. Bedford Borough Assembly Conference
   The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for partners, stakeholders and community groups to work together to identify how best to deliver our goals and aims for Bedford borough.
   There will be plenty of opportunity to have your say, get involved and network through the day, which promises to be both challenging and stimulating.
   
   Date: Friday 27 November 2009
   Venue: University of Bedfordshire, Polhill Campus, Bedford
   
   A formal invitation with a Programme for the day will be sent out in September.
   
   
7. CHUMS conference
   CHUMS are running a 2day conference on Child Bereavement Services for Bedfordshire:
