Would you like to become a Safeguarding Champion for Luton?
Looking for a *Safeguarding Champion* for Luton
Voluntary Action Luton, via its VISION4 C & YP Network and LBC are launching an exciting safeguarding programme. The programme aims to build the capacity of leading individuals in organisations working with children and young people, to enable them to guide their own and other organisations through the Safe Network safeguarding toolkit in order to establish a safeguarding framework.
We are seeking nominations from individuals who are passionate about safeguarding children and young people and would like to become Luton’s Safe Network, Safeguarding Champion. You will be expected to attend bi-monthly, VISION4 C & YP Committee meetings, held at Voluntary Action Luton and link closely with the Safe Network central team and Regional Development Managers, so that you can act as a Safe Network representative within Luton’s communities. Support at national, regional and local levels will be available.

Myplace in Luton project, now called 'TOKKO'
Looking for 14 to 25 year olds from the Luton area
Myplace aims to deliver world class youth facilities designed by young people FOR young people! Voluntary Action Luton was awarded £4.75million to build a world-class youth facility of our own!
The Youth Steering Group are young people from Luton aged between 13-25 years. We meet on a regular basis to make vital decisions regarding the Luton MyPlace project.
So far, the young people have had a say in the location of the building, who the architects should be and what activities will take place there.
The new building will be situated on Gordon Street. The site was donated by the Luton Borough Council. The current buildings there will be demolished to make way for the new building.
So, Young People of Luton: What would YOU like to see in your new building?
