Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (BRCC) is the leading countywide charity working with communities across Bedfordshire and Luton, with a proven track record in community development developed over the past 50 years. BRCC delivers a wide range of services and activities in order to maintain communities that are strong, thriving, well served and inclusive.
BRCC also serves as the Rural Community Council (RCC) for Bedfordshire - one of 38 RCCs in England working together under the national umbrella body, ACRE, to ensure that the rural voice is heard at all levels of government. Regionally, it also works with five other RCCs in the East of England through the regional umbrella body, Rural Action East.

CVS is an umbrella organisation that supports and represents the interests of third sector organisations operating in Mid & North Bedfordshire.

Voluntary and Community Action
Voluntary and Community Action is committed to strengthening the effectiveness of the voluntary and community sector in Bedfordshire by developing, enabling, promoting and supporting voluntary and community action. It seeks to achieve this through advocacy; capacity building activities; enhancing the provision of volunteering opportunities; the exchange of information; the provision of training; advice and consultancy; and by working in partnership with others.
Volunteer Centre Bedford
Volunteer Centre Bedford is an independent charity and the Volunteer Development Agency for North & Mid Bedfordshire.
They promote and develop volunteering in their area and recruit people who are interested in volunteering for a wide range of organisations and community groups that need them.
They provide advice and training to volunteer-involving organisations on all aspects of good practice in volunteer management and recruitment.
Strategically they work with other Volunteer Centres in the county to ensure that volunteering is high on the local political agenda.
